How PlayNest works
PlayNest is a free kindergarten games hub with 30 short games. Every game runs in your browser tab. There is no child account and nothing is uploaded. No child account. Progress stays on this device.
K1, K2, and K3
Every game is tagged for a kindergarten year: K1 (ages 3–4), K2 (4–5), or K3 (5–6). Some games fit two years. On the home page, filter by class or switch to “By class” to see the three lists. Prompts are spoken. Hit targets are large. A miss is gentle. Sessions are two to four minutes so they fit circle time, a restaurant wait, or a tablet corner in class.
No ads in the play area
These games are made for young children, so the play canvas has no advertising. Optional ads may appear on the hub, about, and how-to pages. Optional cookieless analytics, if enabled, only counts page views — not child names or scores.
Art
Animals, balloons, and other character pictures are Fluent Emoji by Microsoft, used under the MIT License. Copies live on this site so the games do not load images from another server. Shapes and paint pots stay as simple drawings so we can recolor them in the game.
Classroom size
Turn on Classroom size above a game to enlarge the canvas for a projector or TV. Pass a tablet around, or let one child tap while the group counts out loud.
FAQ
Do you collect information about my child?
No. We do not create child profiles or logins. Stars for a visit stay in this browser. We do not sell data.
Are there ads inside the games?
Play screens have no ads. The hub, about, and how-to pages may show ads. We do not put advertising in the play canvas.
Do I need an app?
No. Open the page on a phone, tablet, or classroom computer. You can add it to the home screen if the browser offers that.
What ages are the games for?
Ages 3 to 6, tagged as K1 (3–4), K2 (4–5), and K3 (5–6). Filter the hub to match your class. Prompts are spoken so children who cannot read can still play.
